10 weeks have suddenly passed and reality is starting to creep in...
The clock is ticking and it will soon be time to head back to work on July 19th.
As always, I started the 16 week break with big plans of big things I would achieve- long evenings walks with baby at East Coast Park (with a rosy sunset backdrop to match), a major revamp of my blog, a ravenous time of feasting, shopping and blogging... and perhaps even the prospect of picking up a new skill/language.
Unfortunately, I have achieved none of these (my greatest achievement to date being signing up as a "Tupperware Auntie"). Our kiddo is one amazing energizer battery who can stay awake for more than 10 hours at one go- and you can't leave her sight for more than 5 mins without her kicking up a ruckus.
Thankfully, this kiddo is blessed with 2 very zealous grandmothers who jump at every opportunity to babysit her. On the flip side, they can be quite stubborn and over possessive at times.
I guess in life, you win some and lose some.
